Phuket's Magical Landmark
Where All the Magic Begins
Unlike other reviews of favorite places and hangout spots, I'd say this review is somewhat a "special" review of the latest landmark that I have just discovered a few weeks back. This review will be a "realistic", fact-based review of my first-ever visit to a theme park known as "Carnival Magic", Phuket's latest landmark.
As someone who's always in the mood for creative trips and visits to fun places, I hope this review will be helpful to those who are looking forward to the best weekend with family and friends.
Phuket FantaSea : Carnival Magic
I have always been wanting to share fun, exciting places in my reviews, and let me tell you, this place is just filled with elegance and grandeur in so many ways! If you're looking for a colorful destination that will warm your hearts and take you back to the early years of childhood and innocence that fills your heart with joy, excitement, and once gain feel the fast beats of your pounding hearts, "Carnival Magic" is indeed a destination not so far away from Bangkok, only situated at the not-too-far Phuket province in the South of Thailand.
From the usual starting point, Bangkok, we travel straight from Suvarnabhumi airport, taking a plane to Phuket. It took us around an hour or so, then we arrived in Phuket safe and sound. We searched for all the amazing places and destinations in Phuket to see where we should head to for the best photos and memories, but as we check-in at a hotel near Kamala beach, we were told that there is a new theme park right here in Phuket that combines the Thai traditional styles of architectural beauty to the fun and exciting, vivid-colors of amazing creatures and elements of art. And that place, of course, is Phuket's latest landmark: "Carnival Magic".
As soon as we arrive at the place, we see an elephant tower. The tower appeared to be extremely tall as if it could reach the sky! It was one of the most amazing sights of my life! Most of all, the receptionists at the theme park were very kind, helpful, and assisting to all of the visitors, which made us really happy.
From the entrance, we noticed that "Carnival Magic" was also awarded and included in the famous "Guinness World Record"! It is indeed one of Thailand's proud achievements.
Immediately after walking around, we got kind of hungry (lol I literally heard the rumbling of my stomach) so I go straight to the carnival's main restaurant. The place was mesmerizing! Decorated with vivid, colorful artsy elements, creative shapes, and magical creatures, there were large, eccentric-looking and beautifully unique peacock statues. Although I couldn't take my eyes off the place's architectural design and the vibrant colors of beautiful decorations, a wide range of amazing dishes were extremely delicious and divine-tasting! I ate until I can no longer feel my fingers moving to grab more food > < To be honest, I'd have to say that the best thing about Carnival Magic isn't the beautiful architecture to me, but the buffet spread. With a variety of uniquely designed dishes that taste divine, I would have to come back for more, definitely.
After the most exciting meal of the entire visit, I was bloated with loads of food in my stomach (I believe it would take full 5 hours to digest them all). I tried to carry myself all the way to Carnival Magic's game zone a creative arcade full of games to play! There were literally so much games to play!
The exciting part is that here at Carnival Magic, every single corner of the place is just social-media and blog-friendly! Every single spot looks good to take photos with, so my phone's memory was kind of full after thousands of shots.
For me, the place's highlight and the most memorable part was the carnival's "TOYLET" concept toilet or washroom. TOYLET is a highlight, a corner with gimmicks and lots of things to play with and look at. Despite toilets being just toilets, Carnival Magic has designed all toilet rooms and areas with so many things people could play with and have their eyes rest upon, without serious amount of stress while they are in the bathroom doing their business. Another thing I really liked about the place was the huge, tower-tall popcorn buckets they offer they were uniquely designed and have such memorable packaging concepts. Plus, I asked the employees about the popcorn buckets because I was super curious, and they said the ones offered here are the largest popcorn buckets in the world as recorded in the Guinness World Record. I was excited to get them but at the same time, very shocked! It was a double-reveal for me! Now, let's get our feet moving for the next big thing.
Finally, it was time to watch the show! Although it is such an exciting time for almost everyone of us here, ready to witness the magic, let me warn the social-media butterflies out there no photo or video recordings are allowed.
And because of that, no photos and videos of the show, the entire atmosphere, and the magical event can be recorded as memories to keep. You can leave your belongings in the safe-deposit boxes available before entering the theater and watch the show. Despite that downside of not being able to take photos and record clips of the magical show, I would say everything that has happened was "worthwhile" and indeed, "magical".
The show is somewhat more like a "parade" to me. The long parade of magical creatures colored and designed with vivid, magical colors and bright lighting did have a great effect on me and my fluttering heart of a young kid! Everything was like a dream to me and everyone that was all around. There is no adjective, no common word, and not even a smart sentence to describe or elaborate the grandeur and the enormity of this awesome theme park. The unique, original-designed creatures in the parade are decorated alongside a billion stars what I meant is, the spectacular amount of colorful LED lights with over 40 million bulbs! Imagine how pretty and enormous the entire parade would be in front of your eyes!
Carnival Magic is indeed among the best theme parks ever existed. And if we're talking about theme parks and fantasy lands in Asia, I would definitely recommend "Carnival Magic" to just anyone I meet. Phuket is such an amazing destination known for the hippie night life and extraordinary beaches with golden sand, but "Carnival Magic" absolutely stuns the crowds with vividness and vibrant colors of the rainbow to never be forgotten!
If any of you would like to come to Phuket, please don't forget to stop by at "Carnival Magic" and witness all the magical happenings. To me, it is not just one of the best landmarks to visit, but "the best" so far.
Oh, and before I forget, you might need comfortable shoes because it would take you hours and hours to explore the entire place without getting a minute bored. Please be reminded that "comfortable" shoes will be your savior!
